  • Administrative Attorney, Judicial Panel on Multi-District Litigation, 1976-80

Representative Cases/Transactions

  • Counsel for Public Utilities in WPPSS securities and related cost sharing litigation, 1982-95, one of the largest securities case ever filed.
  • Represented a fish-processor defendant in In re Bristol Bay Sockeye Antitrust Litigation. After a four month trial in Anchorage, Alaska, the jury returned a unanimous defense verdict.
  • Represented classes of property owners in Washington State in several multi-million dollar actions against landfills, a composting facility and a water treatment plant.
  • Represented a former Veterans’ Administration physician in a ten-year long series of actions against the VA and OWCP, resulting in a large award of back pay and benefits.
  • Currently represents a large class of investors who lost hundreds of millions of dollars in In re Metropolitan Mortgage, pending in Federal Court in Spokane, Washington.
