Representative Cases/Transactions
- Represents borrowers in commercial loan transactions, including refinances, loan modifications, short sales and other work-out agreements.
- Represents lenders in commercial loan transactions, including forebearances, deeds-in-lieu, new loans, modifications & refinances.
- Represents developers in mixed-use public/private developments. Recent projects include the City of University Place’s Town Center Project, the City of Bonney Lake’s 184th Street Extension project, Pierce County’s Chambers Bay project, the new Silver Cloud Hotel in Tacoma/Ruston, and the YMCA Project in Kitsap County.
- Represents buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of industrial/office/retail projects, including the purchase and sale of business assets. Recent transactions include the sale of Best Buy in Bellevue, Lowe’s in Silverdale, & Courtyard by Marriott in Seattle.
- Represents developers converting residential & commercial buildings into condominiums.
- Represents plat owners with preparation of CC&Rs and related homeowners association documents.
- Represents homeowners associations with various needs ranging from updating documents to enforcement issues.
- Represents property owners seeking code variances and zoning changes, needing to quiet title to land or have easements and/or covenants prepared.
- Represents landlords in unlawful detainer actions and also with the preparation of leases.
- Represents achitects and contractors with the preparation of contracts and liens.
- Represents business owners with entity structuring, including formation, dissolution, and percentage ownership changes.
