Representative Cases/Transactions

With over 20 years of real estate experience, Jemima has handled transactions involving almost every sector of the real estate market, including commercial construction projects, condominiums, industrial, retail and office parks, public/private projects, regional medical centers, hotels/franchises, apartment complexes, assisted living facilities, and residential developments. Jemima’s experience enables her to address all of her developer clients’ needs from entity structuring, due diligence, and acquisition, to financing, land use planning, environmental evaluation, construction contract negotiation, insurance planning, leasing, condominiumizing multi-use buildings, and ultimately assisting with the resale of the project. She also works extensively with lenders to provide creditor rights advice, document new loans and work-outs, and handle debt collection litigation, including foreclosure proceedings. She also has extensive experience providing borrowers with debtor rights advice, handling loan workout and short sale negotiations, and reviewing new loan and refinance instruments. Jemima also has extensive experience negotiating commercial leases for landlords and tenants. In addition to her real estate background, she has had broad experience negotiating and enforcing a variety of business contracts.
