Dale Carlisle received the Lifetime Service Award from the Washington State Bar Association at the Annual Awards Dinner on September 20, 2007.  This is a special award given for a lifetime of service to the WSBA and the public, and is given only when there is someone especially deserving of this recognition.  Carlisle’s service on behalf of the WSBA includes serving as President (2001-02), President-elect (2000-01), on the Board of Governors (1999-2002), Chair of the Washington State Bar Association Business Law Section (1997-98) and on the Board of Directors of the  WSBA Washington Leadership Institute Advisory Board (2003-05).  “Dale Carlisle has served with distinction and honor throughout his professional legal career,” wrote Judge Zulema Hinojos-Fall in her nomination letter.  “Dale has provided leadership and shown his commitment to issues affecting the practice of law and attorneys throughout his career.  He has also been an inspiration … as a leader who has devoted his time and talent to encouraging professionalism and dedication in the legal profession.”  Congratulations, Dale, on this well-deserved recognition!
