Vreeland Honored for Advancing Women’s Issues

Gonzaga University School of Law Women’s Caucus has honored Vicky Vreeland with the prestigious Myra Bradwell Award in recognition of her ground-breaking legal career advancing the causes of women.  Vreeland was recognized for being a fearless litigator and giving voice to victims of sexual assault, harassment and employment discrimination.  Vreeland was also the first woman law clerk for the Washington Court of Appeals, Div. III, in 1976, and she graduated first in her class from Gonzaga University School of Law.  She is the first private-practice trial lawyer to receive the Award.  Past recipients include Gov.
