Joe Gordon Jr. Wins 2007 Civility Award

The Members of the Honorable Robert J. Bryan Inn of Court awarded Joe Gordon Jr. the 2007 Civility Award at the Lincoln Day Banquet organized by the Pierce County Bar Association on February 8, 2007.  In the words of the Honorable Judge Ronald B. Leighton, who presented the award, the award “is the highest expression of acclaim we can direct to a colleague who is not part of the Inn of Court movement, but who nevertheless exhibits in his or her professional life those qualities of competence, integrity, and collegiality that lift up ours as a learned profession critical to the preservation of rights and liberties of a free people. . . Doing the right thing, every day, seems to come naturally to Joe, and everyone who has the privilege to work with him knows instinctively that he epitomizes what it is to be a good lawyer in our time.”  Congratulations, Joe, on this eminently well-deserved recognition.
