Lakeview Light & Power, a power cooperative that serves 9,200 Lakewood customers, has joined three other utilities and private investors to build a large windmill farm in Klickitat County.  A team of GTH lawyers, including Don Cohen, Bill Holt, Durham McCormick, and Bill Lynn, negotiated agreements on behalf of Lakeview that led to creation of the 9,500-acre windmill farm.  Lakeview and the other investors plan to sell the wind power to larger utilities.  Lakeview will invest $15 million toward the $350 million project and hopes to use profits to keep rates stable for its customers.
