James Beck has filed a lawsuit against the Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center on behalf of a Kirkland woman who claims the hospital fired her because she was about to be deployed to Iraq as a military chaplain. The lawsuit contends that the hospital discriminated against her in violation of a federal law that protects members of the National Guard and Reserve from employment discrimination.
