The Washington Beer & Wine Wholesalers Association (WBWWA), an organization representing the interests of beer and wine wholesalers who distribute in Washington State, will come under new leadership starting on September 1st when long-time Executive Director Phil Wayt passes the torch to John Guadnola, who has served as the association's general counsel since 2004. The WBWWA provides over 3500 family wage jobs in Washington State, and its members distribute approximately 95% of the beer and wine sold in the state of Washington. Guadnola's part time contract with the WBWWA is through the law firm of Gordon Thomas Honeywell, where he is a partner and will continue seeing other clients. Guadnola's practice focuses on antitrust litigation and counseling, copyright and trademark litigation, and beverage alcohol regulations.
