Antitrust

We have the expertise and ability to handle the entire gamut of antitrust matters, both litigation and non-litigation. On the litigation side, we have represented both plaintiffs and defendants in conspiracy cases brought under Section 1 of the Sherman Act, in monopolization cases brought under Section 2 of the Act, and in other cases brought under the Robinson-Patman Act, state franchise laws, or other antitrust laws. We have represented companies and individuals before grand juries and in other governmental investigations. On the antitrust counseling side, we have advised companies on the antitrust risks posed by specific sales practices, by various distribution systems or structures, by termination of relations with a distributor or manufacturer, by trade association activities, and by other business activities. We have also helped those companies develop strategies for accomplishing their business goals without running afoul of state or federal antitrust laws.
