Gordon Thomas Honeywell has been recognized among the top law firms in the Pacific Northwest.  The South Sound Business Examiner recently honored Gordon Thomas Honeywell as the “2011 Top Places to Work” in the category of large business, an award for outstanding company cultures.  The Firm was selected for the Puget Sound Business Journal's “2010 Washington's Best Workplaces,” honoring businesses providing outstanding company cultures, possessing forward-thinking human resources policies, and demonstrating workforce longevity.  That same year, we were also named one of Seattle Business magazine's “100 Best Companies to Work For 2010,” which acknowledged companies for their open communications, cohesive culture, and strong leadership; and we were a finalist in the South Sound Business Examiner's "2010 Top Places to Work."  In 2009, Seattle Magazine rated us among the top 20 small companies on the list of “Washington’s 100 Best Companies To Work For.”

The culture at Gordon Thomas Honeywell encourages mutual respect, quality work, and community involvement.   Our community involvement includes donations, sponsorships, and charitable work with over 100 local arts and culture, education, health care, industry, legal, and philanthropic organizations.  The Pierce County Non-Profit Center presented Gordon Thomas Honeywell with the 2011 “Excellence in Corporate Community Support Award,” which recognizes the Firm’s broad-based support of non-profits, through pro-bono legal services, volunteerism, direct donations, participation in fund-raisers, and our many members on the boards of South Sound non-profits.   In 2009 and 2010, we received the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association’s “Pro-Bono of the Year” award, which honors a single Tacoma–Pierce County firm for providing free legal services to those in need.
