Andrea joined GTH in 2005 after graduating from Seattle University School of Law, magna cum laude. Before becoming a lawyer, she taught public school for over 10 years. In addition to enjoying the challenge of teaching literature and writing to teenagers from a wide range of economic and social backgrounds, she found the experience to be an excellent training for the legal profession.
Andrea’s primary area of practice is civil litigation with an emphasis on business disputes, employment law, complex litigation and class actions, alcohol regulation and policy and vulnerable adult and estate litigation. She relishes the intellectual challenge of fighting hard for her clients’ rights, bringing reason and experience to bear on solving their legal problems, and obtaining successful results for her clients in court.
Married with two daughters, Andrea spends her free time skiing, backpacking, adventure-seeking and raising a small flock of urban chickens. Andrea served on the board of directors for Shared Housing Services of Tacoma and the Campaign for Equal Justice. She is a current member of the Pierce County Washington Women Lawyers.
